Luminaries is an exhibition which focuses on the work of six Australasian jewellery artists at the peak of their careers.
These artitsts have played significant roles in the development and understanding of contemporary jewellery over the last thirty years.
The exhibition was curated by Rhana Devenport and was an initiative of JMGA-NSW on the occasion of the 12th Biennial JMGA Conference, onLocation.
Luminaries was first shown at Sydney College of the Arts Galleries, Sydney in early 2006.

Exhibition tour
Thanks to a grant from Visions of Australia, Luminaries was toured to:
- Geraldton Regional Art Gallery, WA from 22 September to 10 December 2006
- Orange Regional Gallery, NSW from 23 February to 25 March 2007
- Flinders University Art Museum, SA from 26 October to 7 December 2007
